CBS buying Jefferson-Pilot: Could it happen?

Robert...I dunno who's worse at "Speculation Theatre" - You or Joseph Gallant...

In the first place, CBS wouldn't have THE LEAST BIT interest in JP's TV properties as the markets are WAY too small and I doubt CBS Radio could conceivably take possession of ALL those radio stations in the JP cluster.

In other words...It's not likely to happen (At least in my opinion).

Cheers everyone :)

And your right Pat..
The newley formed company is very happy to have a media section and all the radiostations from JP! Infact it was good investment on their part.

You mean change it like they did with 92.5 ?? No thanks. It's bad enough we have two jockless stations in town (And CBS owns one of 'em!). :(

I wonder if Entercomm might somehow be interested...

Cheers :)
