CBS coverage of Anwar Sadat Assassination

And here's ABC's World News Tonight from that evening. Peter Jennings received critical praise for his coverage of the assassination. He had served as the network's Middle East correspondent for several years and was apparently one of the first journalists to report that despite Sadat's popularity in the West, he had many enemies at home.
