Remember when KRLD had their 80th birthday bash,and the grandprize of $1080.00was to be given away?Well the winner was announced,BUT...the winner has not received the prize yet.

There's a lot more of that at KRLD than what you posted. Winners of gift certificates from the 2006 Rangers season STILL haven't gotten their prizes. Of course, they're waffling on a lot of things.

Depends on what you do and who you do it for ... Board Ops. at KRLD get crapped on all the time, because the people around them feel techies are the scum of the earth. Part-timers for the most part are also looked down upon.

Board ops at KRLD are paid $8.00 an hour. You get what you pay for.

I got $6.00 / hour when I started as a PTBO at KEOM in 1990. $8.00 / hour for the same position today ain't didly squat IMHO.

Correction ... Board Ops. at KRLD actually get $10 an hour, still not great but better than $8. And they at times do hire someone to be full time, but since it's cheaper to hire part-timers because you don't have to pay for benefits, they like to do that more than anything. It's not very often someone comes on full-time, but it happens and you know they're not paid what they're worth.
