The KCNC video editor who was just thrown a party for winning the Nat. Press Photog's Assn "Editor of the Year Award" got pink-slipped this week, along with others in the newsroom and perhaps elsewhere.

Ten percent cuts were ordered at every CBS O and O TV station. In Chicago, the bloodbath was brutal, with 18 employees getting the axe, including two well-known anchors (Diann Burns and Mary Ann Childers).
The only question is this: how low can you go on the programming side before you fire your nonproductive sales people? THAT'S where the problems are.

looks like CBS Denver might be up for sale according to Radio and records?? Who would buy these ???
I would be glad to see 92.5 changed to something better than the 3rd or 4th country format that has already been tried on this Frequency ;D
