CBS: dump jack and bring back KROY

ever since i moved to sacramento and listened to tapes of and read about KROY, i feel like maybe we need to bring that station back.

what if CBS killed Jack and brought back KROY - bring back the surviving jocks (if possible) and get some k-earth types on there and do it up.

i know it'd take a lot of money to flip the format, and yes i know jack is making money, but don't you think Sacramento needs a Chuck Roy at night?
 
Not going to happen. JACK has zero overhead and nice 25-54 numbers. It makes money. That's all CBS wants. They won't spend dollar one to fix something that isn't necessarily broken.
 
Actually if promoted well that would be one heck of an idea. Roy attacks Jack and Jack becomes K-ROY. Nah never happen those days are over no audience for a KROY in Sacramento ever again, too bad. So now the story goes "Once upon a time there was a pea shooter called KROY that killed the competition in Sacramento." That was then this is now, and now stinks and radio is dead or soon will be.
