CBS expanding in San Diego?

Before the rumor mill goes into over drive, what are the facts:

CBS Radio wants to expand into San Diego. So does BCA (1090), Finest City, and others. Will it happen? Maybe. When? Sometime. Until there is a notice with the Federal Communications, all this speculation is that: speculation.

Just the facts ... just the facts.

Midwest Television, owners of KFMB-A/F/T have, for years, pushed away offers for $$$.

Not saying it won't happen (a move by a major company), just that the rumor mill is worse than conspiracy theories about Area 51, Wendover, Utah, and the western slope of Colorado .... and if you don't know what those are about .... just look up and then question the sonic boom in Sandy Eggo about a year ago ...
