CBS Fires "The Job"

The phrase "reality series" can apply to several times of programs such as news programs, game shows, and documentaries. "TV competition" may be a better description for "The Job".

I watched the 1st episode and it sucked
Couldnt see last weeks as I had 5 other programs recording

guess I didnt miss much :)

Prof. Steve Beverly, the game show expert, called them Game Operas, because they're more like soap operas than game or competition shows.

A decade ago, they also canceled "American Fighter Pilot" after just two episodes (replacing it with more "JAG" repeats). I was interested in it because it was shot at Tyndall AFB, where my father had been stationed.

Speaking on behalf of me, The Job's only viewer. I totally reject your criticism and thought it was a very well done show. Boo CBS!

It's not like the premise of this show was original - remember ESPN's "Dream Job"?
