Jim Ryan to VP--- cbs radio --- music stations.,
Scott Shannon to PD at cbs fm soon ?

wouldn't surprise me. I was kind of shocked he got replaced as VP at PLJ for some guy named John Foxx who also happened to be an on air DJ. When I heard my first clip of Mr.Fox, I thought that he was from a college radio station somewhere it sounded that bad...

Foxx coming to WPLJ as PD --------- signaled the end of Shannon at Cumulus / WPLJ ?

In the same announcement about Jim Ryan taking the national position as SVP Programming for CBS Radio (primarily overseeing CBS Radio's music stations), it was also mentioned that Ryan would continue in his positions as PD of WCBS-FM and WWFS-FM (Fresh 102.7).

In addition to the above, Ryan continues to be CBS Radio's VP Adult Contemporary Programming and adds the duties of VP Classic Hits Programming.

Scott Shannon maintained that his programming days were over when he took the CBS-FM morning position back in the spring - so far, that's true.
