Many big News-Talkers are dropping Paul Harvey. WLW in Cincinnati, WHAS in Louisville, WSYR in Syracuse. Perhaps Paul Harvey was the only reason WROK didn't switch years ago, and now that the trend is to drop Harvey, now was the time to switch.
But with CBS' bias, I'd rather they stuck with ABC.
ABC News seems to have gotten too feature oriented for my tastes. We took the 2 minute TOH 'cast from ABC, and the first minute was two sentence "hard news" stories, and the second minute was two feature stories. Now just using the first minute.
Joe does know. I just talked to him today about it. He claims his contract says he has 50 miles of protection but he's also used to getting screwed by networks because he has no Arbitron numbers. He's pissed, but outside of trying to sue CBS what can he do?
