CBS radio journalist Cammie McCormick was injured today, Friday, Aug. 28, 12:30 PM in Logar Province, Afghanistan, when an IED blast detonated under her armored vehicle (ASV) just outside of Chark on Boston Road. She is currently undergoing surgery for several fractures, including a serious fractures to the left foot.

She is an extraordinary journalist and woman..sending good thoughts for recovery her way.. a real reporter's reporter.
