CBS LAYOFF TOUR COMES TO SACTOWN

Sacbee.com is posting news that KOVR/KMAX Sacramento GM Bruno Cohen is doing his CBS-mandated lumberjack routine in West Sacramento this afternoon, swinging the ax and taking out as many as 30 people. Every department (news, on-air ops/engineering, sales, traffic, production, business) is affected.

CBS O&O's all over the country have been laying off people this week, as the revenue numbers have been well below expectations across all CBS divisions. The local radio cluster-f sacked four people less than two months ago.
