CBS Morning Shows

New addition to WODS
New addition to Mix
Anything new at Hub or ZLX?

Seems like they are investing in AM drive or are other changes on the way?

Station-specific issues.

BMX is trying to restore some male sex appeal for its female target audience. The male jox on the station are rapidly aging out of the demo. They know that Siegel is the only one who can pull off the old and un-hip routine. Aging jox don't fit with the station's imaging. Just ask Joe Martelle or John Lander or Joe Cortese.

At ODS, CBS decided a woman can't carry the morning show and brought in a journeyman, gave him top billing and has him doing the elements while the woman does the "fun" contests, like trying to name a town by rattling off the names of bars.

Am I the only one who doesn't laugh at the Senseless Survey? I want to read the research that tells us that people love prank/awkward phone calls so much that they should be the hallmark of a morning show.

The only time I hear the senseless survey is in a promo for the morning show. I don't know how anyone with a half a brain could find it funny after the first time you hear it. Especially since they can't make prank calls for real.
