I know that in the Central Virginia edition of TV Guide, WTVD also had Tom and Jerry on Sundays; I don't know if you could get that station, but I do know that CapCities, which owned TVD at the time, did not allow its stations to air paid religion. So on Sundays TVD had Tom and Jerry and whatever animated show followed it, Lamp Unto My Feet, Look Up and Live, Camera Three, and Face the Nation. WDBJ usually carried the same lineup; WFMY would carry the 9:30 animated show, but pre-empt Lamp Unto My Feet for a program out of Raleigh, Light Unto My Path; and, depending on the manager's whims, carry Look Up and Live and Camera Three, They did carry Face the Nation but I don't remember if it was at 11:30 or 12:30.I had to watch the show on WDBJ because WFMY had Oral Roberts and delayed the show to Saturdays.
I don't know if you lived around Reidsville, Martinsville, or Danville; I do know that in Burlington you could get all three stations and even got the Central Virginia TV Guide when the surrounding counties (Guilford, Orange, Chatham) got the North Carolina edition. I'm digressing here but trying to get a handle on how you got the Greensboro and Roanoke CBS stations.
