CBS News moves to Infinity Networks

I was forwarded a vaguely-worded email from management at CBS, that said in part "no action will be required on your end" regarding this change.

Usually when someone in a management or PR role says something like that, the fun is just about to start...:cautious:
That sounds like they’ll continue to use Skyview for distribution (at least for now) and Infinity Networks is just taking over affiliate relations/selling the network spots.

... which Mr. "I need to know everything and I need to know right now" should have guessed.

Fine. I will report myself.

However, my comment does follow my earlier statement about his complaining that the public press release did not include the proprietary information about distribution, which was properly excluded.

His later disclosure about working at a station involved means, in my opinion, that he should have realized why that wasn't generally released to the public (and still has not been), he should have been patient and waited for the official information which he knew would undoubtedly be coming to him, and even if my choice of verbiage was offensive to some, he should have presumed that there was a strong possibility that distribution parameters would not immediately change.

Balance my remark against those presumptions.
