CBS Pittsburgh FM Stations Knocked Off The Air

A power outage this morning led to CBS' three FM stations in the Steel City being off the air for up to two hours, including 93.7 The Fan. KDKA-AM was not affected by the outage. No word if blame will eventually be pinned on Sidney Crosby. :D

No, because it was Letang's/Malkin's/Fleury's/Jagr's/Talbot's fault.

Interesting that the AM was unaffected. As for the FM's did the carriers drop or was it just the studios that died leaving black carriers.

I remember a few times in the 80's the power in Greentree kept blinking. On Greentree Rd you could listen to DVE go on and off and watch the traffic lights do the same almost in sync.

Not in the market, but my best guess if if the transmitters were off site that they ran dead carriers with the studio off-line.
