CBS Pumps Up Super Bowl Tech With 8K, AR

https://tvnewscheck.com/article/top-news/229091/cbs-pumps-super-bowl-tech-8k-ar/

What?? 8k? I bet most people don't have TV's that broadcast in 4k or 8k though signals though

For its 20th Super Bowl broadcast on Feb. 3 (the most of any network), CBS hopes to take coverage to a new level by becoming the first U.S. network to use multiple 8K ultra-high-definition cameras in a live sports broadcast.
The Sony 8K units, which will be used to generate replays from each end zone, are just two of the 115 cameras that CBS will use to cover the game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
