CBS Radio EXPO

:) Cbs radio stations had a Expo at Yankee stadium on sat June 26-2010. It was great, people got to meet their favorite radio personalities on radio. It was a hot day but no rain. Sports stars came and the lines were very long and long lines to meet the DJ's too. They did it last year where companies can promote their business, they did it in Citifield last year and this year did it at Yankee Stadium, People got to see the stadium also for $5 and sit in the seat, that probably cost $500 for the game. Parking was $5 too but I took the train in. I hate to drive to the Bronx. I enjoyed the concert by WCBSFM Eddie Money!!! He was very good. It was a long day but a fun day I hope they do it again next year. :) Now that wcbsfm is #1 I would love to see more remotes done, Broadway Bill Lee broadast live from the stadium yesterday from 10am to 2pm. He and the rest of the staff are Great!! Thanks to CBS, I saw friends and met new ones!!!

The question is, which baseball stadium is going to host it? I suppose Yankee Stadium and Bailout Citi Field are going to alternate each year for as long as the Expo is held?

Musically, the day included Kat Deluna, Kris Allen, Eddie Money and Macy Gray. Some sports celebs were there too, I think Darryl Strawberry was among them. The WFAN tent had the longest line. It was a good event and they had a nice turnout. Well worth more than the $5 price of addmission.

I can't wait to see how Phil Mushnick rips that in his next column. ::)

I believe both Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry were in attendance, among other athletes.

:) citifield, Yankee Stadium, even the New Meadowlands stadium would be good. They are all big enough. :) I think they like to keep it in the Queens or Bronx area, as easier to get too by train. The parking was cheap, but I hate going anywhere near the George Washington Bridge.

Thank you for coming out to the Expo, Mary. We really appreciate it!

And, thank you to every one who stopped by the WCBS 880 booth to say hello. It was great to visit with so many listeners!
