CBS Radio please put on a Classic Hits Station in Houston!

The new WJMK K-Hits debuting in Chicago this afternoon sounds surprisingly good. Fairly wide variety of 60s through 80s music and an 80's style CHR presentation with well-known Chicago radio personalities.

CBS Radio knows how to do classic hits right. How about something similar in Houston on one of the lesser performing CBS Radio properties, 60s through 80s variety (not just classic rock hits) with well-known Houston DJs from the past. Would sure liven up the market.

Move Mix to 101 & debut on 96.5 K-Hits, the classic sounds of Houston!

I know i know, not gonna happen, we need our 36 spanish stations.

Streaming the Chicago station. Not bad. Would sure sound nice over the Houston airwaves. We can survive with one less spanish station....or classic rock. http://khitschicago.radio.com/

KGLK needs to re-launch as a Classic Hits station not playing AC/DC, Zeppelin etc.

Do you want classic hits like 67 to 79 or do you want a oldies station that plays 50s & early 60s becuase there are really 2 classic hits already. It just sounds like you want a station with a better play list that plays more zappa & yarbirds

Something like KLUV (Dallas).

Why move Mix? The signals are equal. They even broadcast from the same antenna.

I think if the Chicago station does well, it might very well come to Houston.

At 101.1! The KLOL calls are waiting.

This renaissance in radio should not bypass Houston and there are plenty of personalities who would be great to bring back to the airwaves.

No, CBS needs to flip KILT AM/FM to Classic Hits. After 30 Years we are back playing your favorites "The Big 610/100.3 KILT" Why? Because KILT is owned by CBS, and Top 40 was their format back in 196?-1981 on the AM, and AOR was on 100.3 FM. A liner like "Broadcasting in Mono on 610 Stereo on 100.3 your favorites just like you remember.

As for 96.5 flip it back to Energy 96.5, and flip 101.1 to AC as Star 101 KSRR-FM, or KHRR-FM if those calls haven't been taken.
