CBS Regional VP Ongaro Indicted

R&R is reporting that Brian Ongaro is among nine people indicted by U.S. DOJ for 33 counts of mail fraud, consipiracy and money laundering. Each count carries a max of 20 years.

The charges related to seeking investors for medical outpatient rehab and massage therapy centers.

You have to wonder: Any of the other nine part of CBS?

How many people inside CBS radio are doing cartwheels around the studios today? Do we have to hunt down a good personal injury attorney in case one of them bumps into another? :D

I was reading an article on this in the Phoenix paper. It also said other people may be involved that worked with him on a daily basis. Doesn't he work out of Dallas?

This could get very interesting!

Why any of you find this funny or amusing is very sad.

I don't find it funny at all. I just hope they get THE REST of the scoundrals out of there.

Good Grief Enigma..it is sad but can there not be elation becasue the scoundrel was caught??????? You and Little 1 are waaaay too serious.... A problem with todays radio.

I'm only serious about stuff I want to be serious about...

Where I'm laughing my freaking ass off here...

Never worked with the guy, but I'm thinking, if you're a GM, ain't you making enough money that you don't need to push the envelope?

I guess to channel springsteen (IIRC) poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king...

Making money hand over fist wasn't enough for this guy, he had to get involved in something shady...

Maybe we should all send tubes of KY to his (ex) office...

I was fired because of him. The best thing that ever happened to me though. Met him once and everyone warned me he was a scumbag. Two weeks later I was unemployed.

It's not amusing at all. For the better part of the last decade, an alleged crook has been running a cluster that's gone from one of the best places to work in Dallas radio to the worst. Mostly on his watch. Coincidence?

And what does it say for the people he hired?
