Wouldn't Gumpdusky have something to say about the last part of that?

And getting the Coyotes would bring in sooooo much revenue. But I guess having some PBP is better than nothing.KeithE4 said:Ford said:I think the better question is, why would CBS give up a 3 share for a 1 share?
Sports, if done right, bills far better than the ratings would indicate. But they'd have to have content (read: games), and right now TMISU has all local teams, except the Coyotes (XTRA) and ASU baseball & women's hoops (KDUS), locked up.

DToTheJ said:Just a thought here, but CBS also owns two other stations on the 107.9 frequency: Y108 in Pittsburgh, also country, where they already have "93.7 The Fan" - perhaps indicating a frequency flip - and the recently acquired from Harold "It's The End Of The World And I Know It" Camping WFSI (now "El Zol" WLZL) - again, D.C. is another market where a "Fan" station already exists on 106.7, whose signal isn't the greatest... so it could be part of a simulcast with 106.7, or solely to clear the new CBS Sports Radio 24/7 network launching next year.
Things that make you go hmmm...
