Hardly anyone will watch, of course, but secondary sports networks like CBSSN that have no rights to MLB, tennis, golf and whatever other sports might attract viewers while colleges are out of session need to find something fresh to offer to avoid becoming what ESPNU is in the late spring/early summer -- a 24/7 barrage of old games, avuncular reminiscences about seasons, teams and teammates past, and pompous pseudo-psychic blather about what might happen in a college sports season that won't begin for two or three more months.
