CBS-Sports Radio on 93.1 HD2

Got home-and-notice CBS-Sports is on KCBS-FM HD2,
sounds like they are running the feed straight through,
with a local ID from the Jack announcer

Chime....You beat me to this. I just noticed this too. Expanding on the HD side channel theme, a few items/changes I have noticed at the lower end of the dial:
* 88.1 - KKJZ has two HD jazz side channels running
* 89.3 - What happened to their HD channels? I would like to have their HD3 back - which was relaying AAA KCMP (The Current 89.3) from the Twin Cities
* 89.9 - Eclectic24 from KCRW
* 93.1 - has just flipped to the new CBS Sports

Well, its nearly an honor being first. I try-and-look
at HD channels each day, but what I am noticing is
somewhat different.
100.3 HD has been off several days, KBIG's is back
again. 88.1 HD2 sounds much better than HD1, and their
HD3 sounds like some kind of ambient dance music. KPCC
last I checked still has The Current, but the display
says HD3, there is no HD2. Their Spanish News service
has been gone awhile.
From other areas in the SFV I can get all 3 of KCSN's
including a classical.

When Amp was an HD-2 channel, wasn't it on 97.1? If so, this could be an ominous sign for Jack's long term chances for survival. It may not be tomorrow or even next year, but it may be the future sports home for CBSSR.

AMP was on Jack's HD2, launched in Feb. 2008. From Wikipedia -
Previously, AMP Radio was heard on KCBS-FM HD2 and also streamed online; it launched on February 21, 2008. The station had targeted teens and young audiences by playing a mix of popular child friendly artists such as Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and songs from the High School Musical soundtrack and Top 40 artists (Chris Brown, Paramore, Rihanna and Metro Station). Eventually, AMP more closely resembled a more mainstream Top 40 format and it was advertised the station on many of the company's radio station websites. The company stated that testing AMP Radio on HD and online showed brand loyalty and the success of the format.

CBS-Sports is also available on the CBS local app for iPhone. In the Watch + Listen section it's the eight radio selection though as of now it has no logo. It's below KROQ and to the right of KFROG.
