Yes, I expect changes-a-plenty. I suspect, when all is done, we'll be wishing Clear Channel got those stations. When Wilks went into Des Moines in 2001 (before selling the cluster they built to Citadel a few years later), they made cuts that made Lowry Mays and Lew Dickey look like Mr. Rogers. The Des Moines Register wrote up a whole article about how bad Wilks was. Of course, who knows for certain other than the people at Wicks and Wilks? Judging from the past behavior of Wilks and Wicks, it will be a pump and dump operation, but maybe Wilks really has a sincere desire to operate a good cluster and do things differently this time. They're getting a really good staff in Kansas City, and Columbus has a lot of good people, too. I'm hoping no one gets shafted.
