CBS Stations' Local News Coming to Airports

http://www.broadcastingcable.com/news/local-tv/cbs-stations-local-news-coming-airports/166732

This is part of a deal with ReachMe.TV to carry CBS Local News and CBS N at the airport.

Local news, weather and sports produced by CBS’ O&Os will air in airports across the country under a new deal between the station group and ReachMe.TV, which broadcasts in high-traffic public places.

CBS Television Station’s 10-year partnership with ReachMe.TV comes as the network rolls out its new In-Airport Entertainment Network across the 50 largest airports in Canada and the U.S., according to CBS.

The service will reach more than 70 million viewers per month, who will be able to view the airport channel on public TV screens, as well as on mobile devices.

The airport network will air content produced by CBS divisions including CBSN, the network’s digital service, and created from popular programming such as Entertainment Tonight, CBS said. The station group will manage ad sales as well.

I'm trying to figure out what service airs at a remodeled McDonald's in Berlin, CT. Some of the content in between in-house advertising seems to be clips from CBS News or a clip from The Price Is Right or The Big Bang Theory. My brother has seen content from NBC one time. The Burger King restaurant down the street from them sticks their TV on CBS-N all the time. It looks like it's a Roku TV and they just leave it on that. (They also had a recent remodel, but did so before McDonald's.)

I'm not sure what would air at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks (north of Hartford). I was last there in 2010. A monitor near my gate for one trip was actually on WWLP-TV (NBC) channel 22 of Springfield, MA.
