CBS Stations

Has anyone noticed that the all of CBS Classic Hit stations playlist are now only viewable for the past 2 hours. They used to show the full day, but that has changed in the past week. Anybody know why they did that? I also noticed the CBS country stations are also only viewable for the past 2 hours. You would think they would want to be more transparent and show all of the songs they play throughout the day. Any ideas why? I know Clear Channel and Greater Media show the full days schedule.

I remember when they started this feature, the primary goal was to help listeners identify a song they heard on the radio. Nothing more. Because one of the most common questions radio stations get is "Hey what's that song you just played?" Back then, they were radio-only sites, staffed by people within the station. In the last few years, the CBS web sites have become integrated TV/radio/interactive sites, featuring a lot more than content related to the radio stations. Their purpose at CBS Interactive is to create unique content. Radio is part of that. The Greater Media and IHeart sites are more strictly radio sites. Thus more about the music played on the stations. So I imagine they did an assessment of usage and bandwidth taken by the feature, and decided to scale it back a bit. Just my guess.
