CBS trading Charlotte & Tampa clusters to Beasley

Damn, huge kick in the butt of Charlotte radio. Anyone ever listened to Beasley's stations in ENC? Small market radio at it's worst.

Beasley is a Florida-based company with stations concentrated in mid-atlantic and southeastern states and Nevada. BTW its a homecoming of sorts for the company: WBAV was owned by Beasley when it was WCKZ from 1988 to 1994.

How will this affect WNKS and WSOC? Of course, it should in someway. Will they have new management and leadership?

Will be interesting to see what changes may come. I believe 95.1 had recently improved and overtaken 96.1 in the CHR rankings, so we'll see if that pattern continues. Amd maybe they can make improvements at 103.7 which had lost ground to 96.9.
