CBS Turned out the Lite in Minnneapolis!!

CBS turned out the Lite in Minneapolis! They are going Country. Waht is the future of The Lite in Dallas?

Who knows.

KVIL is doing a lot better in target demos than WLTE.

MSP only has 1 Country station and it has big shares/Dallas has 2 primaries and a bunch of rim shots already.

Wonder if the www.971thebull.com will soon redirect to Clear Channel's KTCZ The Cities 97 instead of KEGL ?

It still redirects www.971thebull.com to The Eagle's website

WLTE was set up to fail. The cluster manager of the CBS stations in Minneapolis, is previously from the Clear Channel group in Minneapolis. One of his stations at Clear Channel was KEEY (K102), a country station. CC fired him, was picked up by CBS, he hired an individual who programs rock stations, to program the light AC.
