CBS/WBZ-TV Open Restaurant/Broadcast Facilities at Patriot Place

Wow.... that's going to be nice. It isn't something you would even expect to see around Boston. It's more like something that would be built in New York or Los Angeles. I think Foxboro will be extremely fortunate to have this in their town!

How big will the studio be? Are we talking about a tiny little studio like a News Set has? Or are we talking about a large studio where they could could tape The Price Is Right with a 300 person audience if they wanted to?

So this explains the promotional pieces for Patriot Place (KraftWorld) that CBS has been running during the home games all year. Les Moonves was looking comfortable in the owners box last night. I feel "CSI Foxboro" is coming soon.

What's the over-under on how much they'll charge for a hamburger? I'm going with $9.

Hey, what are the odds that you can get a BRADY BURGER (TM) or The Randy Moss (aka Hot Dog)? :D

ESPN has their resturant the ESPN Zone. Glad to see CBS trying to get into the same. Im sure WBCN will carry the Patroits for a long long time. Are they said to have a broadcasting house for CBS Radio? In the video it just said for CBS Sports and WBZ 4.

It's not often I sit down to watch Boston news, but I have a renewed interest since I saw Todd Kazakiewich on Channel 5, with whom I worked several years ago.

That said, I watched the news on WBZ a couple of nights ago. They must have spent a good 2 minutes on the Green Line groper, with no fewer than three testimonials from random passengers about how creepy such a scenario is. One would have made the point. This was preceeded by political commentary from Jon Keller. Basically, the first segment of their newscast was op-ed stuff and a story that could have easily been reported in half the time that it actually took.
