CBS2 6PM News Broadcasts The C-Word

CBS News NY at 6pm Friday ran a story about a woman who had a sick prank played on her regarding the death of a family member. Somebody pretending to be from the hospital IM'd her saying that her family member was still alive and used profanity in their IM. When CBS read the IM log, they left out the words, but when they showed the printout of the dialogue, they neglected to blur out the language ... among other words, "c*nt" was on screen for at least 10 seconds.

Video here, not the easiest thing to download, a few odd steps.

The text in question is about 1:05 into story, read the screen.

it is quite odd that the piece wasn't screened before it aired. hard to miss the word. and what about the person's real name showing up in the same shot as the 'c' word. what was the point of the whole stupid piece? ch2 still sucks after all these years
