CBW 990 currently OFF THE AIR at this hour (9p CT)

DX Alert everyone! Check 990 as CBW has been off the air for hours now and the channel is wide open in the Midwest.
In WA I am getting KATD Pittsburg CA, with KTMS Santa Barbara CA (500w) under and what sounds like XECL under them. All relogs but good to hear KTMS especially.

Ahh, I missed it. They're back on the air.

I'll check this out. But I need to wait about a half hour before I can. Hopefully they'll still be off. If so, it should be intersting. CBW is a monster around here every night and blows out just about everything else on the channel.

Thanks to a tip about this on the NRC Facebook page managed to hear three new stations on 990 kHz: WEIS (Centre, AL), WWKY (Winchester, KY) and WISK (Lawrencville, GA).

They went back on around 9:25 CT. They had been off since early afternoon. Perhaps CBW's engineers monitor this website?

I missed it too. Perhaps it was just me, but I thought the signal was slightly weaker than usual....albeit still quite good. I nulled it, just to see if there might be anything coming through. I did heara couple of very weak signals, but nothing even remotely identifiable.
