CC Birmingham finally streaming.

I think it began about 2 weeks ago. On WQEN they began promoting it as "the evolution of 103-7" at the start of January. The Vulcan's website had a link to a "coming soon" Internet stream from the time the site was launched.

During a brief stint at a CC station, - STREAMING INTERNET - was something that was considered absolute evil. Hard to believe they're turning to it now - better late than never.

I know the big concern was the national/local spots - have they lightened up on that?

They've had it in many other markets, some smaller than Birmingham, for a year or so. They sell the ad slots for the stream separately from the on-air feed.
