Now that the new investors of Clear Channel have made the announcement to sell a number of stations outside the larger markets, what do you suppose will happen with the Clear Channel cluster in Bozeman? Having begun my career at what was KXXL in the early 70's, I always wondered why Clear Channel would want a market like Bozeman, much less a channel like 1450. Will there be a local owner, or several local owners? Will Bee Broadcasting come in? What say you??

Weren't both Marathon & Bee in Bozeman back in the 80's and 90's? I don't recall the exact stations each owned, but I think Marathon bought out Citadel and then sold to CC.
Benny Bee does have history in Bozeman as Mack knows, having spent some time with KXXL when it was owned by Empire Broadcasting.

Benny taught me a lot at 'XL. And yes, I was thinking maybe Benny might expand his operation to Bozeman. what's being mentioned about Bee Broadcasting in Bozemen in the 90's was a CP that was actually licensed to Benny's wife Coco which I believe they sold off. But I am old, and the memory isn't what it used to be!
I think Bee is already there. THere are several "KBOZ" stations in the market and they may be owned by BB....
