CC Charlotte GM is gone

So, Morgan Bohannon is no longer over the Charlotte CC cluster. It's about time! Guess they finally woke up at corporate. Can't believe he was able to bluff his way through this long.

Enquiring minds in Raleigh and Greensboro want to know if the CC Career Fair will be making its next stop in those places. By no means is Bohannan the only weak link in N.C. But your right...he will have plenty of free time for golf now. So long Marlboro Man. Ride off into the sunset for your next tee time.

gotta give him credit...he made the most of it for a long time with no aparent skills, other than protecting his own hide.

I'm sure all his former competitors are sorry to see him go.

Honestly, the man never had an original thought in his head . . . no ideas, no leadership skills, no sense of humor, little analytical ability, a complete waste. He also drank like a fish and had a lot of anger. He was a master of the good ol' boy network and a corporate pleaser. Yes, I feel certain his competitors will be sad to see him go. It's really amazing that he wasn't fingered long ago, but could really talk a good game to save his a**. Morgan surrounded himself with people who had mastered the art of sucking up.
The new guy would be wise to figure out who they were and eliminate them as soon as possible. Radio in North Carolina will be a better place without the Marlboro man.

I don't know this guy but when have you ever heard something good about a GM?

They always have to make the unpopular decisions and deal with corporate. It's probably not the kind of job where you'll fine a "good guy".

Oh, not true. I've worked with several good GM's and know some who are still operating. Yes, they have to make some hard decisions, but most people understand that. And there's a lot to be said for respect. Of course someone in a position like that will always have those who disagree with them, but they still have the respect of most of the staff. Bohannon had nothing, NOTHING to earn respect. I've never seen such an empty, empty suit. The unfortunate thing is that CC will probably replace him with an equally empty suit. Just sad.

Maybe CC will have a change of heart and offer Morgan one of those awesome 7k a year voice tracking gigs...
or even better the open gig next to Paul Schadt!

Morgan's days at CC consisted of playing electronic darts with Paul Schadt, and when Paul was unavailable, he fraternized with the young sales girls of CC. This guy had the nerve to call me at the hospital and ask if my son was born in one breathe, and let me go with the other during the inaugural lay offs. With the way things happen in that building, I was happy to leave, I only wish I was there to see that **** leave.

That's classic Bohannon. I was wondering when someone who worked with him in Charlotte would speak up. He's a nasty piece of work and I think he actually enjoys being cruel. Here's an interesting thing about Morgan - His birthday is October 31st. Does that tell you anything? I'm just sayin' . . . .
