CC Cincinnati AM stations in HD

Just got HD for the car and 1530 Homer and 700wlw sound good. No static and they do sound like they're on FM. Homer's signal in HD tends to fade so I need to employ the lock feature on the radio. Then, since the signal is digital and the analog is locked out, you'll get drop outs like you might hear on satellite radio. But still is a cool feature-----HD.

I was near Cincy yesterday & 700WLW was fliipping between analog & HD. There was a several second difference. Drove me nuts! Only station I heard with time alignment troubles.

Actually, 1530 was doing that delay thing as well last week.

I don't know why, but it seems like Clear Channel engineers have problems keeping the audio in time. I have three HD stations under contract here, and I weekly check the delay and adjust it.

WLW was timed well today...so there may be something to the Reds game day lack of delay theory.

They likely take it out of delay for Reds games and may have forgot to put it back in delay...
