CC Cluster

Keeping tabs on the Columbia and other CC Clusters

> Did they ever get a new GM?

Not yet.

For information on goings on at the Columbia Cluster, keep an eye on <a href="http://columbia-sc.clients.clearchannel.com/"><font color=red><u>this link.</u><font color=black> It is Clear Channel's client website. Clear Channel seems to have them in every market but while some, including <a href="http://charleston-sc.clients.clearchannel.com/"><font color=red><u>Charleston</u><font color=black> are well-done and up-to-date. Others are not. The <a href="http://greenville-sc.clients.clearchannel.com/"><font color=red><u>Greenville client site</u><font color=black> seems permanently stuck in July 2004. In fact, the "Newsletter" lists Bill McMartin as the GM and Debra Jones as the DOS. Pretty sad since Ms. Jones was let go many months ago and is now across the street at Entercom. Doh!!

I have reason to believe that a lot of Clear Channel honchos read this board so watch for it to be updated... fast! <font size=4>:)</font>

It's pretty easy to check on other markets too. The URL format is:

<font size=3>http://city name.2-letter state abbreviation.clients.clearchannel.com.

Thanks for the links. Their stockholders read this board, too. :)

Are you one of them? Me too.

You don't by chance live in Tulsa do you?

Nope. Never been to Tulsa. Unfortunately, Clear Channel is one of the few stocks I have lost money on. Hopefully, the spin-off will bring some value back.

Re: Keeping tabs on the Columbia and other CC Clusters

Why the name change from DudeFan, Dudefan? I do find it flattering that you've chosen Aaron Sheffield's (the fictional character, not me) other alias, Lazarus Long.

Will Woodrow Wilson Smith be next?

There is another Lazarus Long besides <font color=red>the fictional character. <font color=black> There is also a <font color=red> scam artist <font color=black>by the same name. (Naturally, he prefers to think of himself as "an investor") And he <font color=red> lives in <a href="http://phone.people.yahoo.com/py/psPhoneSearch.py?srch=bas&D=1&FirstName=lazarus&LastName=long&City=tulsa&State=OK&Phone=&Search=Phone+and+Address+Search"> <font color=red>Tulsa. <font color=black>That's why when I saw "Lazarus Long" and "investor" in the same post, I asked if <u>he</u> is from Tulsa!

You could ask one of the alias' whether they are from Baton Rouge.

Frankly, I am much more partial to Bradbury than Heinlein. Bradbury is concise and clever, if overtly sentimental.

Yes, Bradbury is good stuff. I'd consider Heinlein a "favorite" rather than the "best". Can't really pick a "best"....
