CC will soon to flip formats to a spanish one and it will be programming monitored by mvs so expect the flip before the end of the year.. from the memo i read its gona be Marilu Ramos who will be the pd
 
For now just in San diego my guess is the launch of ''LA MEJOR'' its soppose to happen very soon maybe even before the end of the year...

MVS already has La Mejor on the station they bought from CC and their Mexican partner at 99.3. They got rid of the La Preciosa format, and launched that a few months ago. That station which has an ok signal now, has the ability to go to 100kw is my understanding.

Actually, there are two La Mejor frequencies, the Class A at 97.7 and 99.3. Many think that they will do the same thing as Unoradio, with 97.7 for the Tijuana market and 99.3 for San Diego.

It would be somewhat strange for Clear to be involved, as they had to dispose of the LMA for 99.3 to comply with the FCC market caps; they can not take it back, even as a JSA.
 
That certainly makes sense, as an effective way to serve both markets, and employ some programming / product efficiencies.
The only way CC can be involved is if they did flip one of their US frequencies.
