CC Matthews new STAR 93.3 morning host

I worked the Winter Jam show at the Cincinnati Gardens Thurs (2/4). CC Matthews was introduced onstage as the "brand-new morning guy". I don't listen to them, so he might have already started. He's pretty much burned a groove in I-71 going back & forth from here to Louisville. I worked for him at WINK 94.1. Good person to work for.

Been wondering where he went after being at Salem/Louisville. Congrats CC!

Star 93.3 was my first radio job, but in 1967, it was known as the Christian Voice Of Cincinnati & we played lots of reel to reel taped programs.

Did Kurt Wallace leave Star 93.3 yet again. he seems to not be able to make up his mind. he comes to WAKW after 93.9 the song goes under in indy. then comes back to start up 88.3 the Walk rim shotter to indy. then abruptly leaves to Return to Star 93.3

At least when CC moves up & down the Interstate, he waits a few years...or even a decade between moves.

Wait is the same CCC Matthews who was once in Cincinnati?

Programmed "WARM", KJ-100, WZPL, yes, THE CC!

Chief I don't know which "Warm" you're talking about, but CC never programmed the one in Cincinnati. He programmed WINK 94.1. Thanks to CC I got a chance to work in that famous building at 2601 W. 8th Street while WSAI was still there. I got to work in that same studio where the WSAI guys worked when I listened to them as a 7 year old kid in 1976 and when they finally flipped in '78.

CC was more than "once" in Cincinnati. This is at least his third time here. If he'd bought a house in Carrollton, KY, he could have changed jobs between here and Louisville without having to move.

this is his 4th time. he worked at WSAI 1977-1978, until shortly after the switch to country, then at WWNK from 1985 until 1994 or 1995, then was in town at 1160 AM when SALEM owned it around 2003 as a talk station, and now at STAR 93

The reason mr matthews has bounced around so much is he has burned alot of bridges!!!Not good in this industry todays intern or todays receptionist could be tomorrows boss so treat people as you would like to be treated.

That's good advice...on the rare occasion I have lost a client, I've invariably thanked them for the opportunity to be of service and invite them to have my replacement contact me if I can help him (or her) become acclimated to things. It never hurts to leave that bridge standing.
