CC Programming 1190 with host

I just noticed this in the morning of Mar 16. That 1190 had a talk host on.
I kept listening thinking that CC changed the format [I was actually sad].
But then i heard the reasurring "Classic Country!{gfuitar solo] COWboy ElevenNInety!]
So I guess CC is finally putting effort in it

OR was this show a payed slot?
It ended about 6:30 AM

I didn't think CC still owned 1190. Doesn't First Broadcasting oversee it? I think they also sold off 1160 a little over a year ago, but are still hanging on to Mighty/Cowboy/Lonestar (Remember when it was Lonestar for a while, then changed it?)
I guess we know why now.

Clear Channel has not sold 1190, they still own and program it. First was LMAing it up until the end of last year, but they quit and CC has it all in their control now.
Chances are what you heard was their community programming that's generic to all CC stations. That usually airs very early Sunday morning - it probably was the same on all their FM stations too. But no it wasn't "paid" and no nobody has bought the station yet.

What i find sad is that when you look up KFXR on the ClearChannel website
it doesnt say that they own 1190.. it says they own 107.3 KFXR-FM
Cant find anything on the CC site about KFXR-AM

And yes i remember them being called LoneStar 1190...
I think we know why that got changed ;)
