The word is there will be a Major announcement coming from Clear Channel Tucson's oldies COOL 1450 very soon. Anybody got any ideas/guesses/information? This post could sure use some activity...
 
Why don't they just blow it up, transmitter, processing gear,
hard drive and all? It has no redeeming sonic quality. None.
The station sounds horrible. Probably the worst excuse for
an oldies station on the air.
 
I dunno, maybe they'll get the letters "FM" out of the calls? So they don't have to say "KWFM-AM"

Lib talk? That's working out so very well in this market.

Sports? Two others.

Music? On AM? People will buy oldies and standards on AM, past that? Maybe they'll sell it to Slone!

There is no "all news" outlet in town, they're all talkers. Maybe? Run a live feed of some televised news like KTKT used to do?

Spanish?

By the way, they have not exactly been meticulous about updating their website....
