CC Sale/Hudson Valley

The trades have announced that GoodRadio will be purchasing 187 CC stations. The markets seem to be leaking out slowly. A list of markets that are not included in the sale was released and CC of the Hudson Valley was not on that list. I can't seem to find anything at definative. Anyone know anything?

pretty confident that CC of the Hudson Valley is part of the GoodRadio transaction....question is will they operate or will they spin immediately?

Now that Clear... I mean Cheap Channel (as warm590 would say) is getting out of radio except WBPM and WGHQ are out since Pamal took over, only 9 more stations will be out of radio. I guess CC will get rid of that "Kiss" moniker someday because of that rap garbage is slowly fading out, but thanks to K-104, the #1 radio station in HV according to the fall Arbitrons. GoodRadio would be a good thing. Maybe we will see another oldies station, another Rhythmic AC station or maybe some format will be something else. Stay tuned!

Goodradio released a list today with the 187 stations they're buying, and the Poughkeepsie cluster's 10 stations are indeed on the list.

Good move for the company. I guess Clear Channel is giving up the "Kiss" name, because of the rap thing. It happened in Vermont that WVTK has dropped the "Kiss-FM" name to become Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel. Is 96.1 should flipped to oldies when Goodradio takes over the CC stations in the future because of controversial remarks? Will see.
