CC Stations' Music

I was on iHeart the other day, and was switching back and forth between four AC stations and four Country Stations and for each genre, there was the same song. I turned to iHeart's Soft Rock channel and they were playing the same song as well. I was just wondering if CC had that much control over what their stations play. BTW, the new iHeartRadio is much better and even easier to access crystal clear Rush Limbaugh on WGST!

If those stations are using the company's "Premium Choice" programming channels...yes, it is possible. It's the same programming being selected by the stations to fill dayparts on multiple stations in different markets instead of using local personalities and/or locally programmed music.

Kinda like listening to a satellite-delivered music format. Wait! I think that's what it is, sort of.

Speaking of iHeartRadio, I can't wait until I upgrade my smartphone. The version of IHR for older versions of Android (pre-2.2 Froyo) is iHeartBugs.
