That's easy...when you have unhappy employees, those employees WILL talk...or casually fax or email over such a memo to, say, some newspaper, internet board, etc. It's all about salvaging the bottom line in anticipation of a buyout. Remember ABC making some rash personnel decisions before the Citadel merger? And before the Disney/Pixar deal? And Susquehanna doing much the same before the Cumulus deal?
