On Tuesday morning, Martin Giles mentioned at the end of his 93.3 newscast that Channel 8's "Storm Team" will no longer provide weather for 93.3, and I assume the rest of the CC cluster. He said Fox 13 is taking over. Why the switch? Is this the result of more budget cuts by Media General?
 
Good news and bad news there. Strengthening the Fox label should be a plus from the marketing aspect. However, I have to say that dealing with Steve Jerve and company was a real pleasure. They were all knowledgeable and always willing to help out. That said, Channel 13's crew should do a fine job. As management always likes to say, it's not personal, just business.
