CCM In St Louis...

Between the Bowling Green, MO C3 Signal at 94.1, about 65 Miles north of the City, and C2 KHZR at 97.7, about the same distance south of the city, they don't cover the whole market. 94.1 best covers Pike & Lincoln County, with marginal coverage in Warren, St. Charles, and West St. Louis county. 97.7 has a good signal into Jefferson County and South St. Louis, and is marginal into Downtown. As far as the east side goes, 97.7 gets only a little south of Belleville, before it starts getting stepped on by WDLJ at 97.5 in Breese/Carlyle. I'm kinda surprised that they didn't apply for any translators in the last filing window to plug some of thier signal holes in the county.

I know when I was with Way-FM for eight years, we really would have loved to send me into STL and make it happen.. It just has been a hole since the WCBW days..... :)

Word is when KEZK lights up their HD2 channel, its going to be CCM. That should happen some time this summer.

KEZK-HD2 is now on the air. I can pick them up great on my HD Radio. Nice wide range of music.
