hi there good people! first time post! sure have enjoyed your post! very smart folks u are i need a opinion on ccradiosw! waiting on mine from fed ex due sat. any thoughts on my first expensive radio? good or bad would love to hear from u guys! peaceout,tulsajohn
 
It's a good radio. I have mine for 4 years and it still works. Has great sound from its 5-inch speaker. Receives distant AMs pretty well on days, even better with a loop like the Grundig AN200 beside it but not connected to it. My CCradioSW doesn't hear a signal on the lower side of AM from strong local AM station on the upper side about 2 miles away from where I live (that is, no image response when
you are tuned 910kHz below the actual frequency). On FM, very good though it overloaded on very strong signal on mine; selectivity good but not as good as DSP radios like the Grundig G8 or HD radios from Sony. Good on shortwave, though I seldom listen on shortwave.
