CC's bringing back Planet radio

^Radio 104.5/Philly and 102.1 The Edge/Dallas are pretty similar to Radio 105.7's page, except that there's an ad for an Avenged Sevenfold tour on The Edge

The site for DC101 still has girls in bikinis, but not motorcycles and huge muscular guys - remember, though, that Washington DC doesn't have any male-oriented current Rock/Active Rock station, so DC101 probably gets some of those listeners by default

With Clear Channel resurrecting the "Planet Radio" name on a rock station in Jacksonville, back when WGST used the "Planet Radio" name in the 1990s, was WGST a rock station during that time? Or were they the heritage news/talk station that people knew them better as? I'm asking because I didn't start listening to WGST until 2000 or 2001 when it became the final years of WGST's simulcast at 105.7 FM during the "NewsRadio" name era.

Check the Atlanta Sidestreets archive site for a taste of what the News Monster was doing in the summer of '89.

I didn't realize til I looked it up that the Alternative/Active hybrid in Jacksonville had such high ratings - this seems like an extremely safe move for CC (in Jax)
