ccs-rush radio will it happen here

i cant really see them putting it anywhere but 1480
but if clear channel puts it there it would most likey fail

so do you put it @ 106.1 and slide my 106.1 over to HD2 ??

and btw im not saying a format change is happening @ either station im just saying if this was to go down @ some point

Zero....no, less than zero....chance of 1480. Hell will freeze over first.

For sure it would NOT happen on 1480 AM... looking at their map on Radio-Locator, the signal is horrible at night. I'm not sure what station would CC flip for news/talk, they all are doing pretty well...

Well, they do have two urban stations, with WUSL being the weaker of the two - of course, to break them up would go against the master plan of protecting WDAS... WISX is the worst performing of the five FM stations, according to the latest PPM...

Now, if we were having this conversation about four years ago, 104.5 would flip, and certainly 106.1 would be in the discussion, too.

I can't imagine the demos of Rush Radio would be young enough to make sense on FM. Probably not young enough to warrant blowing out Power 99, anyway.

I also imagine Clear Channel is making more money from the fees WPHT pays for its 9a-6p lineup than it would make selling local spots for that same lineup on 1480.
