For those that aren't aware, as of 7/1/10 Columbus's locally owned alternative station, WWCD CD 101.1 has officially moved their frequency of operation to 102.5. They have sold the 101.1 frequency to Ohio State Univ. and that frequency will now air a classical music format pending FCC approval or within 90 days. CD will now enjoy expanded coverage (6000 watts -> 16,000 watts) in their respective market. Kudos to them for picking up more potential listeners for their station. Question is, will they keep the "CD 101" moniker they've had since 1990, or go with a new one ("CD 102.5")?
