CD101 4th Best in the Nation?

From the Dispatch 2/15/06

"The March 10 issue of Radio & Records includes a section in which people in the record industry voted on the best alternative-music stations in the nation. WWCD placed fourth, behind stations in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland, Ore."

Somebody please tell R&R that I want whatever they're smoking.

Since there's only 5 alternative-music stations left in the United States, it is not saying that much.
Kidding aside, go to other markets and you'll find the "alternative" music being played really stinks. No knowledge, no history. I think they are pretty good at what they do. Ask someone from say WLUM in Milwaukee to play the Replacements and they'll say "We need to replace what?"
