Celebrating at Curtis and Capitol

I can't remember the last time local owners had three of the top four stations with 25-54's. 96.1 had a huge book and so did 101.5. WQDR is on par with last summer but down from winter. FOXY takes #1 again. (^) means up book.

Curtis and company must be ecstatic. Can't confirm but I hear 99.9 didn't have enough in-tab diaries to show up 12+. Has anyone else heard that? Can that be possible?

Thanks CC-Alum and RadioInfo for always being there with numbers. The other local site is moderated by a bitter ex-rock jock who hates everything. Topics there are always XM Sirius or what some 500 watt daytimer is doing in New Bern. Thank you for sticking with topics "working" radio people are interested in!

And congrats to Curtis and Goodmon. Local radio rules!

Yeah, I heard both Curtis and Capitol had great books. One thing that shocked me was the 16 share WRAL-FM pulled middays. WOW!

I've never heard about not showing up in the ratings. Can that be right?

In order for a station to "show" in the Arbitron, a non-simulcast station must meet all three of the following criteria (Persons 12+, Monday-Sunday, 6AM-Midnight):

1. At least five minutes of listening within a quarter-hour in 10 Metro diaries; and
2. .495 Metro Cume Rating; and
3. .05 Metro Average Quarter-Hour (AQH) Rating.
